Last night we listed the 80th show on our SciFinal website. It was Before Judgment the prequel/companion to the After Judgment web series. Hard to believe there are that many independent, science fiction shows out there! When we launched Zerks Log last year we thought we were only one of a few. Boy were we wrong!
We are really pleased with the attention the SciFinal trailer is getting. If you haven't checked it out yet, here's the link: http://www.scifinal.com/trailer. The trailer has garnered over 6,000 views so far and continues to grow each day (as do visits to the SciFinal website. Much of the attention is due to the stories that were written about the SciFinal trailer on Wired.com and io9.com - sites that normally don't spend too much time talking about indy sci-fi. So we were psyched about the coverage!
Want to thank the folks at 93 Studios for compiling a cool list of folks to follow in the web video space. Also want to thank them for including me, StoryForge, Zerks Log, and our new website SciFinal.com site in the write up. Very cool! If you're not following 93 Studios, you should be. Go now! ;)
Our friend Andrew Park, producer of The Hayley Project (and currently the Temp Life) was nice enough to post about SciFinal on his blog Tailslating. Here's the link:http://tailslating.wordpress.com/2009/10/22/scifinal/
SciFinal is now live! The SciFinal website is "the last stop in independent sci-fi online." Our hope is that it becomes THE destination for viewers looking for fun, entertaining sci-fi web series.
We're launching SciFinal.com this week. The site is a directory for independent sci-fi web series. Show creators are encouraged to get in touch and put up a show page. You can reach us at info@scifinal.com.
Darren over at SciFi Scoop posted a great feature story on Zerks Log today. Here's the link. He was kind enough to interview me and asked some great questions about StoryForge, the process of creating Zerks, etc. We provided him with some exclusive behind the scenes images for the article. Fun stuff! Thanks Darren!
