Terms of Service

1. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your password, API keys and connected-tool tokens confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised use.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to the scripts, images, audio, video and other material you create or upload (“Content”). You grant StoryForge a limited licence to store, process, transmit and display your Content only as needed to operate the Service for you - for example to play back your project or to share it with the AI tools you connect.

You are responsible for your Content and for having the rights to use it, including material produced by third-party AI generators you connect to StoryForge. Do not upload anything that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, contains malware, or depicts sexual content involving minors.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to access other users' projects or data, probe or overload our infrastructure, or circumvent security or rate limits.
• Do not use the Service to harass, defame or threaten anyone, or to distribute spam.
• Do not resell or white-label the Service without our written permission.
• Automated access through the documented API and MCP server is welcome; scraping the web app is not.

4. Third-party tools

StoryForge is designed to work with AI agents and generation services that you choose and configure (for example Cursor, Codex, image and video models). Those services have their own terms and pricing, and StoryForge is not responsible for their output, availability or charges. Tokens you issue to those tools act with your permissions - review and revoke them from your Account page.

5. The Service, changes and availability

StoryForge is under active development. We may add, change or remove features, and we may suspend the Service for maintenance. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it. Keep copies of Content that matters to you; the export tools exist for that reason.

6. Fees

StoryForge is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans we will publish pricing in advance, and existing accounts will not be charged without explicitly opting in.

7. Termination

You can stop using StoryForge and delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for other users, giving notice where practical. On termination your right to use the Service ends and we will delete your Content in line with our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, StoryForge and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or CAD $100.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Ontario, Canada.

10. Changes and contact

We may revise these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect; continued use after that date means you accept the new terms. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
